Thank You, Mommy ♥

"The mother's heart is the child's schoolroom."
-- Henry Ward Beecher

Mommy,

Every Mothers' Day we would brainstorm for something new to give you. I remember making letters, cards, drawings, poems, powerpoint presentations, little somethings to tell you that we are blessed to have you as our mother. Though I still feel that what we make isn't much, (because how can a card, a drawing, a poem, or any gift at all, sum up how much you mean to us?) we could see that you appreciate every little thing we give you.

Mommy, thank you for always being there for us. Even when you're at work, at school, you still make sure we're doing ok. thank you for believing in us even during the times we doubt ourselves. I grew up thinking that I can be anything I want to be, because you're there for me and you believe in me. You always give us more than what we need and you teach us everything we need to know. Sometimes I wonder how we can ever repay you - but then we know how selfless you are, you are the person who gives and do not expect anything in return. That's why we all look up to you and we're so proud to have a mother like you.

Thank you, Mommy. We know that in you, God gave us a gift we could never repay. We are truly blessed.

With love,
Your children

You may have tangible wealth untold; caskets of jewels and coffers of gold.
But richer than I you can never be -- I had a mother who read to me.
