Yesterday, the sound of my alarm didn't wake me up, but thunder did. I wanted to curl up and go back to sleep but I have to be at work by 6:30 in the morning. So I hurried up and got ready. Outside, it was cloudy, and I thought, "It's June already" with a bit of surprise. It's the third day of the month already, I know, but yesterday is the first day that felt like it.
It's been raining a bit the past two weeks but you wouldn't feel it that much because it remained hot even while it's raining. I had to wear slippers and fold up my slacks so it won't get wet until I arrive at the office, bring an extra jacket and pack my black shoes, but I didn't mind. I like rainy days much better than hot days, as long as it won't rain too hard. It's raining again this morning but gladly it's just light rain.
Anyway, speaking of June, classes are about to start! This will be my youngest sister's first year in high school. Good luck and hope you enjoy your classes, Sam! :D
